Quantitative Text Analysis for Social Scientists A talk by Nicole Rae Baerg

59:34
Nicole Rae Baerg, lecturer at the Department of Government at the University of Essex, discusses qualitative text analysis in this SAGETalks webinar. Text analysis has a long history in the social sciences and has been commonly used to analyze media coverage. Historically, it involved the human coding of text and this has inherent issues. The digital age has made huge amounts of data available for analysis in the form of newspapers, blogs, social media feeds, government documents, the list goes on! As the technology to automate the analysis and coding of texts has become more available we are able to go beyond this and treat text as quantifiable data. Watch this webinar to learn about the role that quantitative text analysis plays for social scientists when working with such vast amounts of data, as well hearing about ‘QTA in action’ and how social scientists are using text analysis for their research.

Muslims in Terrorism News Coverage: A Cross Cultural Content Analysis

10:37
To gain an understanding of how Muslims were represented in the news during the immediate aftermath of the Paris terror attacks, this study applied an eclectic lens to the method of content analysis. The study built on existing research by content analyzing coverage of the attacks in The New York Times and The Guardian. A second coder was adopted and 40 random articles were analyzed for headline bias, source usage, value statements and three word clusters surrounding Muslims, Islam and refugees. A word map was created to gain an understanding of the frequently used words in both outlets. The results showed that the headlines were neutral and that Muslims were portrayed more positively in The Guardian. Both outlets relied heavily on non-Muslim sources in their stories, and Islam was frequently placed in negative word clusters. The word maps suggests two different agendas in the two media outlets. The results were discussed and considered in terms of Nossek’s (2008) “News-Media” Media Events Model and previous research findings.

/newsrooms: 21 Days of Continuous Marketing and Social Media Coverage

01:25
What is the volume and intensity of activity in a typical 21-day period at /newsrooms? Take a look. As a content and social media marketing network /newsrooms is deeply committed to continuous marketing. There’s no going halfway on this kind of thing. We paused to observe and quantify the volume and intensity of activity that our network of editors, our analysts, our correspondents - what were they typically engaged in within a 21 day period? It’s interesting to just look at the highlights. You know, content originated in 19 countries. We deployed four coverage teams in 5 cities. We interviewed one finance minister, 3 company presidents, execs from Google, eBay, Canadian Tire, and KPMG. We dove into a pretty wide range of topics. Just to match the content that we’re building for our clients … from travel to liquid natural gas, startups, wearable technology. The editorial calendars that we created in these campaigns generated thousands of interactions with our client audiences. When we measure and learn from all that data … essentially every 21 days, the content and the campaigns that we create get sharper and they get smarter. content. coverage. conversion.™ Visit our website: http://www.newsrooms365.com/about/

Media Institution: Crash Course Government and Politics #44

08:45
So today we're going to look at the rather thorny issue of the media and its role in politics. Wether you're talking about older forms of media like newspapers and radio or newer forms like television and the Internet, all media serves the same purpose - to provide information to the public. So we're going to discuss their strengths and weaknesses and examine how both content creators and consumers play a role in the information that is told. It could be argued that because the media only relays information it isn't actually important to the American political system, but when you look more closely at what and how this information affects voters as well as their elected officials, we can more clearly see its importance as a political institution. Title The Manifesto Corpus - a Digital Corpus of Electoral Programs Abstract The Manifesto Corpus is a digital, open-access, multilingual, annotated corpus of electoral programs. It complements the recent methodological innovations in (semi-) computerized content analysis by providing a large, standardized text corpus for the political science community. The corpus is based on the collection of the Manifesto Project, which comprises the largest hand-annotated text corpus of electoral programs available. Since 2009 the project’s costly and time-intensive procedure of collecting and coding documents has been fully digitalized. As a result, it now provides more than 1900 machine readable documents from 40 different countries. Eight hundred of these documents contain content-analyzed annotations at the level of single (quasi-) sentences, which correspond to the Manifesto Project coding scheme. Additionally, the corpus is continually being extended by incorporating new elections and digitalizing older documents. The corpus is stored and versioned in a standardized format in an online database. A web API, an R package (manifestoR) and a stata add-on (manifestata) guarantee easy access and the replicability of analyses using the corpus data. Jirka Lewandowski, Sven Regel, Nicolas Merz and Pola Lehmann won the 2016 Statistical Software Award by the Society for Political Methodology for the R package manifestoR and the Manifesto Corpus. The talk will present illustrative applications of the corpus, as well as the technical infrastructure used to maintain, distribute and access the corpus. Zur Person Nicolas Merz is a research fellow in the project Manifesto Research on Political Representation (MARPOR) at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. Additionally, he is a PhD student at Humboldt University working on a dissertation on electoral programs and media coverage. His research interests include political parties, electoral programs, political communication and content analysis. Jirka Lewandowski is Assistant for Data Analysis and Infrastructure in the MARPOR project at WZB Berlin Social Science Center. He developed and maintains the technical infrastructure for storing the Manifesto Corpus, as well as for the manifestoR software package. His interests are computer-based text analysis and open, reproducible scientific work and data flows.

DEAR FRIENDS, SouthFront Team is working on several projects intended to improve and expand the coverage, available to you on our website, YouTube channel and social media accounts. Our IT people are re-designing the mobile version of southfront.org. The new mobile version would allow you to get news from southfront.org in a more convenient way. SouthFront writers, designers and video makers are working to expand the amount of text, graphic and video content, which our team delivers to you on a daily basis. And last but not least, in the upcoming weeks the video team will release several military and political analyses, among which will be: A critical video analysis of the military capabilities of the Russian Coastal Troops and their role within the Navy and a critical video analysis of the military capabilities of the US Special Operations Forces and issues with their operations. SouthFront has also started to analyze the current situation in Russia and a possible crisis, which it could be facing come April-May 2019. However, all this will not be possible without your help. Since January 1, SouthFront has collected less than a half of the monthly budget needed to keep the project alive. Dear friends, all those who watch our war reports, live streams and documentaries, read and uses news and analyses on southfront.org, if you want to assist SouthFront to remain an open source of coverage and analysis of conflict zones and military diplomatic developments around the globe, please, support SouthFront. Prof. Sean McGraw presents How Parties Win

01:26:01
Prof. Sean McGraw talks about his recent book, How Parties Win: Shaping the Irish Political Arena. In recent decades, Ireland’s three major political parties have maintained over 80 percent of the vote in the face of rapidly shifting social divisions, political values, and controversial issues, though not by giving voice to particular interest groups or reacting to issues of the day. Rather, Sean D. McGraw reveals how party leaders select, or purposely sideline, pressing political and social issues in order to preserve their competitive advantage. By relegating divisive issues to extraparliamentary institutions, such as referenda or national wage bargaining systems, major parties mitigate the effects of changing environments and undermine the appeal of minor parties. McGraw’s recent book, How Parties Win: Shaping the Irish Political Arena (University of Michigan Press; 2014), draws a richly textured case study of the major parties in the Republic of Ireland engages the broader comparative argument that political parties actively shape which choices are available to the electorate and—just as importantly—which are not. Additionally, McGraw employs mixed-method research, using public opinion surveys, party manifestos, content analysis of media coverage, the author’s own survey of nearly two-thirds of Irish parliamentarians in both 2010 and 2012, and personal interviews conducted over the course of six years. Introduction by Ireland House Director J.J. Lee
Christopher Hitchens: Why Does the Media Lie to Us? Media and Reporting Bias (1997)

01:52:41
A technique used to avoid bias is the "point/counterpoint" or "round table", an adversarial format in which representatives of opposing views comment on an issue. More Hitchens: https://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&tag=tra0c7-20&linkCode=ur2&linkId=3eec8d75d6b4aa4818fd6c541c03249c&camp=1789&creative=9325&index=books&keywords=hitchens This approach theoretically allows diverse views to appear in the media. However, the person organizing the report still has the responsibility to choose people who really represent the breadth of opinion, to ask them non-prejudicial questions, and to edit or arbitrate their comments fairly. When done carelessly, a point/counterpoint can be as unfair as a simple biased report, by suggesting that the "losing" side lost on its merits. Using this format can also lead to accusations that the reporter has created a misleading appearance that viewpoints have equal validity (sometimes called "false balance"). This may happen when a taboo exists around one of the viewpoints, or when one of the representatives habitually makes claims that are easily shown to be inaccurate. One such allegation of misleading balance came from Mark Halperin, political director of ABC News. He stated in an internal e-mail message that reporters should not "artificially hold George W. Bush and John Kerry 'equally' accountable" to the public interest, and that complaints from Bush supporters were an attempt to "get away with ... renewed efforts to win the election by destroying Senator Kerry." When the conservative web site the Drudge Report published this message, many Bush supporters viewed it as "smoking gun" evidence that Halperin was using ABC to propagandize against Bush to Kerry's benefit, by interfering with reporters' attempts to avoid bias. An academic content analysis of election news later found that coverage at ABC, CBS, and NBC was more favorable toward Kerry than Bush, while coverage at Fox News Channel was more favorable toward Bush. Scott Norvell, the London bureau chief for Fox News, stated in a May 20, 2005 interview with the Wall Street Journal that: "Even we at Fox News manage to get some lefties on the air occasionally, and often let them finish their sentences before we club them to death and feed the scraps to Karl Rove and Bill O'Reilly. And those who hate us can take solace in the fact that they aren't subsidizing Bill's bombast; we payers of the BBC license fee don't enjoy that peace of mind. Fox News is, after all, a private channel and our presenters are quite open about where they stand on particular stories. That's our appeal. People watch us because they know what they are getting. The Beeb's (British Broadcasting Corporation) (BBC) institutionalized leftism would be easier to tolerate if the corporation was a little more honest about it". With the release of the 2008 book What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception by George W. Bush's press secretary Scott McClellan, there are some who contend that this is evidence of Mark Halperin being correct instead of biased. In his book, McClellan admits to lying to the media, and describes the contempt he felt for reporters who so easily believed his lies, and were cowed by the fear that if they exposed the lies, they would be accused of "liberal bias". Another technique used to avoid bias is disclosure of affiliations that may be considered a possible conflict of interest. This is especially apparent when a news organization is reporting a story with some relevancy to the news organization itself or to its ownership individuals or conglomerate. Often this disclosure is mandated by the laws or regulations pertaining to stocks and securities. Commentators on news stories involving stocks are often required to disclose any ownership interest in those corporations or in its competitors. In rare cases, a news organization may dismiss or reassign staff members who appear biased. This approach was used in the Killian documents affair and after Peter Arnett's interview with the Iraqi press. This approach is presumed to have been employed in the case of Dan Rather over a story that he ran on 60 Minutes in the month prior to the 2004 election that attempted to impugn the military record of George W. Bush by relying on allegedly fake documents that were provided by Bill Burkett, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Texas Army National Guard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_bias

Media Analysis of US Coverage of Arab-Israeli Conflict - Part 1

09:38
Like most Americans, Alison Weir, the editor of a small-town newspaper in California, knew very little about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, other than what she had gleaned from the evening news or newspaper headlines. As a journalist, her attention was on issues much closer to home. Neither a muslim nor a jew, she nevertheless became more curious about the topic of the Palestinian uprising. And as she researched it, she became increasingly suspicious that the American media were not telling us the whole story. Months later, she traveled to the occupied territories as an independent journalist to find out for herself what the U.S. media seemed to be omitting. Three months after returning from Palestine, Alison Weir quit her job and founded If Americans Knew, an organization dedicated to quantifying the ways in which the American media was misinforming the public about the conflict. Ms. Weir explains her group's methodology, analyzes the data, and reports on the key findings.

Amanda Haynes - Media representations of Limericks Regeneration Estates

24:08
McCafferty (2011) documents the manner in which housing policies have contributed to the creation of segregated and marginalised social spaces in Irelands third city, Limerick. In recognising the significance of the mass media’s role in shaping public perceptions about social problems this seminar examines the manner in which media constructions also contribute to this process (Devereux, Haynes and Power 2011; 2013). Drawing upon a quantitative content analysis of print media coverage appearing in 4 national and local newspapers between 1/3/2009 and 31/03/2011, this seminar analyses the representation of two of Ireland’s most deprived urban public housing estates and identifies the key frames used in explaining these estates to its residents and the wider public at a time when the largest regeneration project in the history of the Irish State was occuring. The seminar argues that for the most part, media coverage is stigmatising, focusing almost entirely on issues like crime, which in the process ensures an invisibility / lack of awareness of the impact of public policy on place-making and everyday life for these two communities. The seminar will argue that these depictions can be best understood within the context of commercial realities, which progressively impact upon media production (Hesmondhalgh 2006; Cottle 2007; Devereux, Haynes and Power 2012). The seminar concludes by examining debates regarding the potential to counter problematic (mis)-representations, which present difficulties for the communities themselves and for the Limerick Regeneration project, in terms of economically and socially regenerating estates which have been constructed as ‘no-go areas’.
Convergence of Sport and Ceremony: Influencing Culture and National Image

05:10
Convergence of Sport and Ceremony: Influencing Cultural and National Image at the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi and PyeongChang The intersection of sport with cultural and national identities takes center stage during the opening ceremonies of each Olympic Games. Host countries use this Olympic platform to communicate messages intended to influence society’s perception of their culture and shape a positive national image. This study compares and analyzes the effectiveness of communication strategies and techniques implemented for the opening ceremonies of Olympic Winter Games held in Sochi, Russia, in 2014, and in PyeongChang, South Korea, in 2018. Theoretical foundations of ritual communication and message framing provide a basis for this research. Content analysis examining the multimedia ceremonies and subsequent international media coverage provides insights on how the impact of this international sporting event extends beyond the competitive arena. Issues such as Russia’s controversial involvement in Crimea and its anti-gay laws along with the complexity of South Korea’s thawing relations with North Korea factor into the opening ceremonies of the respective Olympic Games. By focusing on the Winter Games in Sochi and PyeongChang, this paper adds to the body of existing studies on opening ceremonies, which typically view Olympic Summer Games. Though the Winter Games are smaller in scale, involving fewer countries and fewer athletes competing in fewer sports, they are, nevertheless, used by organizers as communication platforms. Examining the Sochi and PyeongChang opening ceremonies in context with the political and social dynamics of the time contributes to understanding the multifaceted role of sport and global sporting events in society. ONE: It's either Great & Wonderful (a page turner) and anyone that reads it "WANTS TO BUY IT" or there's the other type, TWO: which is "IT'S A PIECE OF CRAP or IT SUCKS"! There is no middle-ground; there is no such thing as "I've gotten good feedback" or "I got mixed reviews" that is what people, in the industry, tell you when you've WRITTEN A PIECE-OF-SH*T (You've wasted 100 pages, you've killed a tree). Why? Here's why! If the person that just read your script, is actually in the industry, and reads it and loves it, he/she will instantly buy it (actually option it). If he/she doesn't like he/she won't buy it (option it). But he/she will not hurt your feelings by telling you "IT SUCKS" and say something very polite like (A) I like the concept, (B) Act II is a little work and the (C) Main characters needed a little more fleshing out. Again, there are only 2 types of scripts. One is GREAT & WONDERFUL and anyone who reads it wants to either (A) Buy it, (B) Finance it or (C) Option it. Or IT SUCKS....there is no middle ground. Victim Worthiness: The Effect of Media Coverage on the Portrayal of Homicide Victims

11:13
In the last thirty years with the growth of 24-hour news channels, Internet only news sites and the decline of the newspaper, there have been tremendous changes in how the media covers crimes. Whether it is a catastrophic terrorist attack, school shooting, or a low-profile homicide, violent crime is a staple of news coverage. The field of victimology has documented that the media does not portray all crime victims the same. The race and class of the victim as well as seemingly non-relevant factors such as their age, profession, and the location of the crime as well as the demographics of the offender all influence public portrayals of crime victims. Scholars refer to these factors as influencing "victim worthiness." Victim worthiness can have an influence in jury selection, prosecutorial discretion, and sentencing (Stabile, 2006). Utilizing computer content analysis, this study examined three case studies of violent crime, analyzing the news coverage and its impact on "victim worthiness." The hypothesis of this study was there would be media bias in the portrayal of homicide victims due to "extralegal" factors (e.g. race, age, status, etc.) of either the victim (s) and/or the offender. The findings of this study suggest mixed findings in support of the hypothesis. Tacit Consent: The American News Media and Minority Tyranny

56:48
http://www.morganweiland.us/2006/05/thesis-paper/ Building on my studies of the relationship between the American media and the government, I focused my senior thesis on the American media's coverage of the the lead-up to the War in Iraq. I expanded upon existing academic models of public opinion formation by incorporating theories of minority tyranny to argue that the government—not the mass media—is the minority group with which public opinion formation begins. I empirically tested my hypothesis by comparing, using content analysis, the neoconservative rhetoric of President Bush's foreign policy-oriented speeches with New York Times articles pertaining to the same topic and from similar time periods. I found that the media largely behaved as an uncritical conduit for the administration's perspective, supporting the model's causal link between the government and the mass media. Further, the findings serve to complicate the belief that there is a widespread liberal media bias, as The New York Times, perceived as centrist or leftist, is shown to have tactically and explicitly supported the Bush administration during the lead-up to the war. My thesis received honors at Carleton, where I presented it both as a poster presentation and as a talk (see video above). Additionally, my thesis placed at two undergraduate political science conferences and was published as a result in both instances.

Atif Tauqeer, (presenting research paper) Bin Laden's killing in Abbotabad

12:32
Atif Tauqeer presents his research paper at Deutsche Welle (DW) Media dialogue on the topic: Bin Laden's Assassination: National Security Phenomenon and Construction of Pakistani Media Narratives Atif Tauqeer Hamid, Researcher and Freelance Journalist, Deutsche Welle | Bonn, Germany On 2nd May 2011, US SEALs team conducted an operation against terrorist organization al Qaeda's chief Osama bin Laden, who had been hiding for a decade since the 9/11 attacks in the US. Pakistan's civilian and military leadership always denied the presence of bin Laden in Pakistan but apparently his hideout was saturated in a garrison city of Abbotabad a stone thrown away from Pakistan's biggest military academy. As the reaction of Pakistani media to this event has been rather biased, this study explores how the media was able to craft coherent narratives about the event that were able to draw attention away from bin Laden's presence in Pakistan. The main hypothesis of the study was that the national media's narratives were evolving around the paradigm of national sovereignty in Pakistan to promote national security propaganda by ignoring the international discourse on the 'war on terror'. In order to analyze the research question, the study draws upon Propaganda theory by Herman and Chomsky as well as the framing theories of Mc Quail and Scheufele and combines the quantitative approach of content analysis with the qualitative approach of critical discourse methodology. The empirical data the study is based on include media articles and cover pages from Pakistan's two main-stream nationwide English newspapers the Dawn and the News as well as two leading western newspapers the Washington Post and the Guardian. The two "Western" newspapers have been included to also get insights into international media coverage on the issue, particularly the coverage on the international discourse on the war on terror. The empirical evidence of the study demonstrates that Pakistan's media reported the event under the national sovereignty paradigm and created a parallel discourse to international narratives on the war against terror. This shows that national sovereignty narratives in Pakistan, driven by the military institutions, still heavily affect the information flow in Pakistan and the country's 'Islamic' ideology revolves around national security Keywords: Pakistan, US, al Qaeda, Propaganda, National Security and sovereignty, Reporting, information flow, military.

Jesse Rosenfeld: media coverage of Gaza Flotilla massacre, part 1

09:47
IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN AND PALESTINE: UNDER SIEGE THE LEGACY OF OCCUPATION AND THE CHALLENGES FOR INDEPENDENT MEDIA IN THE MIDDLE EAST June 21, 2010 at the Beit Zatoun House, Toronto While the 3-year-old siege of Gaza has been brought into dramatic focus of late, the 12-year embargo of Iraq that crippled the economy and wrought havoc on civil society continues in another form, post-invasion. At the same time, the ongoing war in Afghanistan has taken a terrible toll on its beleaguered population. The massive $1 billion security and military presence in Toronto this month for the G20 will protect the very world leaders who are overseeing wars and occupations that have cost trillions of dollars, and countless innocent lives. Independent media has a crucial role to play in exposing the reality of war and daily life in Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan... Severe restrictions on visas and mobility for foreign and domestic journalists, as well as threats from government and paramilitary forces, hamper efforts to report reality on the ground. rabble.ca blogger Derrick O'Keefe, New Internationalist co-editor and author of Dancing in the No Fly Zone, Hadani Ditmars, and Carmelle Wolfson and Jesse Rosenfeld of The Daily Nuisance discuss opportunities for breaking the siege of indifference and reporting from occupied lands. Palestine: As settlements expand across Jerusalem and Israel's military occupation in the West Bank and Gaza intensifies, Palestinians are on the edge of a new popular revolt. Israel continues its crippling siege of Gaza, paving way for the brutal attack on a humanitarian aid mission into the Strip that took place this month. Palestinian citizens of Israel are also feeling the pressure as urban renewal and gentrification is used as a pretext to force them out of their historic cities, while the government passes laws to criminalize public discussion of their identity and history. Meanwhile repression against Palestinians and Israeli solidarity activists continues, as does the Palestinian Authority collaboration with Israel. Behind the regular headlines of tense relations between Israel and the US over settlements The Daily Nuisance www.thedailynuisance.com is exposing the on the ground reality and impact on those living in Israel/Palestine through photography, video, print, news, analysis and opinion. While international mainstream news filters out and misinterprets local voices, TDN uses English to present local perspectives to an International audience. The editorial collective is comprised of Palestinian, leftwing Israeli and international journalists and media makers. Jesse Rosenfeld Jesse is a Canadian print and video journalist based out of Ramallah and Tel Aviv-Jaffa since 2007. He is the print editor of The Daily Nuisance and has written from the Middle East for The Guardian, The Nation, The National (Abu Dhabi English language newspaper), Haaretz English, The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, NOW Magazine, Z Net and Electronic Intifada. Instagram @beardedkingface Twitter @beardedkingface From XXL Mag: "Machine Gun Kelly Tweets About Eminem's Daughter, Hailie May 7, 2012 The bad blood between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly began to boil in May 2012, when the Cleveland rep made a comment about Em's daughter, Hailie, in a post on his Twitter account. Referring to Hailie as “hot as fuck” after a photo of the then-16 year-old went viral, Machine Gun Kelly's comment proved to be the genesis of his rift with Eminem. Machine Gun Kelly Accuses Eminem of Having Him Blackballed October 2015 In October 2015, Machine Gun Kelly indirectly accused Eminem of having him blackballed and banned from Shade 45—presumably due to his tweet about Hailie—during an appearance on Hot 97. "Certain people won't even listen or review this joint," MGK explained while talking about the lack of media coverage surrounding his sophomore album, General Admission. "Certain places you won't even hear Machine Gun Kelly on... Fuck anybody who's trying to take food off not just my plate, but a whole city. It's more than just me. Let us win. Help us, man.” Although Machine Gun Kelly didn't mention Eminem by name, many fans assumed that he was the source of MGK's ire. On March 1, 2018, Tech N9ne released the song "No Reason," which features an appearance by Machine Gun Kelly. His verse includes a line that some listeners felt was aimed at Slim Shady. "Popped in on the top charts out the cop car/To remind y'all you just rap, you're not God," Machine Gun Kelly rhymes, lines that seemingly allude to Eminem's 2013 single "Rap God." When Eminem released his surprise album Kamikaze in August, rap fans reveled at the Detroit legend's return to form following the critically panned Revival. Yet the Royce Da 5'9" collaboration "Not Alike" stirred up lots of controversy. Eminem sends direct shots at Machine Gun Kelly, calling him out by name and taking him to task for his comments about Hailie and his subliminal jab on "No Reason." Although the tension between the two had been brewing for some time, "Not Alike" is the first instance of either rapper throwing down the gauntlet and taking a direct shot. Days after Eminem dissed Machine Gun Kelly on "Not Alike," MGK unleashed his own retort, the harsh "Rap Devil," in which he accuses Eminem of being bitter, out of touch and having him banned from Shade 45. It was the first on-wax response to Kamikaze's barbs by any rapper, leading many to wonder whether Eminem would counter. On September 14, 2018, Eminem unleashed the Machine Gun Kelly diss "Killshot," in which he poked fun at Machine Gun Kelly's appearance and lack of commercial success. The song broke YouTube's record for most plays in its first 24 hours, amassing 38.1 million views. After Eminem released "Killshot," MGK shared his thoughts on the record in a post on Twitter. He appeared to be less than impressed with Em's response. "2 weeks and 3 interviews later," he tweeted, adding emojis of a toilet and a man tossing something into the trash. "#legshot #letstalkaboutit."#letstalkaboutit." A video from the concert circulated that seems to show some audience members booing when MGK performed "Rap Devil." Machine Gun Kelly later claimed that Eminem fans doctored the video and added the boos." rap,hip hop, music, reaction, review, bearded kingface,s n-tial,eminem,slim shady, marshall mathers,KILLSHOT [Official Audio],Eminem - KillShot (Lyrics) [MGK Diss],celebrities react to eminem killshot,EMINEM KILLSHOT - REACTION,EMINEM KILLSHOT REACTION,Eminem KILLSHOT [Official Audio] Reaction, eminem diss mgk, eminem killshot lyrics, eminem responds to mgk, eminem killshot review, eminem killshot explained, eminem killshot breakdown, killshot, eminem killshot reaction, eminem wins, the second behind eminem's win, rap devil breakdown analysis, killshot breakdown analysis

09:49
